We are finalizing support measures for members affected by the wildfires and will announce these plans soon. All branches remain open and fully operational, prioritizing the safety and support of our community during this challenging time. In the meantime, we’ve compiled a list of fire relief and recovery resources for those affected or looking to support.

Emergency Housing

Utilities

  • AT&T: Offering unlimited data through February 6 to customers in affected areas and waiving fees for a number of services.
  • Verizon: Cell, text, and data usage incurred by customers in affected areas will be waived until January 18.

Health & Wellness

  • Planet Fitness: Free access to showers and locker rooms through January 15. Contact your local gym for details.

Small Business Resources

Food & Supply Donations

  • Los Angeles Regional Food Bank: The Food Bank collaborates with government agencies and nonprofits to provide food and supplies.
    • Drop off locations (8am – 5pm):

  • World Central Kitchen: Chef José Andrés’ organization is delivering fresh meals to those in need, including first responders and families impacted by the fires.
  • Salvation Army: Emergency relief and long-term recovery assistance. Donate or volunteer.
  • YMCA: Donate food, snacks, water, essential supplies, blankets, emergency supplies. Working directly with the American Red Cross.

Monetary Donations

  • The American Red CrossThe American Red Cross is on the ground providing shelter, food, emotional support, and health services. Donate to help the Red Cross respond to and help those affected by the Los Angeles fires.
  • United Way LA: Donate to their emergency Wildfire Response Fund to support low-income individuals, the homeless, and small businesses in the community.
  • California Fire Foundation: The California Fire Foundation is supporting communities and firefighters affected by wildfires.
  • Pasadena Community Foundation: Donate to the Eaton Canyon fire relief fund. Resources deployment will be determined with city leaders and nonprofit organizations.
  • California Community Foundation: Donate to the Wildfire Recovery Fund to recover and rebuild the needs of California’s diverse communities.
  • Los Angeles Fire Department Foundation: Donate to the LAFD Foundation to equip fire personnel battling fires with tools and supplies.
  • CAL FIRE Benevolent Foundation: Provide funds for immediate life-sustaining assistance to firefighters and their families.

USC Credit Union 

We are finalizing our support plans and will soon announce specific measures to assist those members affected in the coming days. This assistance will include loan extensions, short-term housing support, and additional help for those facing hardship as they rebuild their lives.
